Get to Know Us
Tower Accounting started in 2019, when Kieron Mitchell donated his organization, Central Indiana Consulting Services, to ICOM. His plan was to better serve nonprofits by working alongside ICOM and their mission to help missionaries globally.
After Kieron's generous donation, ICOM created a subsidiary called ICOM Services, also known as Tower Accounting! Tower became a 501c3 in 2020 and has continued the mission of serving nonprofits globally.
Meet the Staff
Hey there, I’m Jenny Empson.
I am mostly known for: my position here at Tower or volunteering at the International Conference on Missions registration.
I love serving the world by: helping nonprofits understand their finances, empowering them to focus on their mission.
The three things I am most passionate about in life are: Faith, family, and education
I serve people who: want peace of mind with their financials
I am blessed to: give nonprofits tools to share confidently with donors, staff, board members, and more!
When I am not working, you can catch me: playing Call of Duty or visiting my sister and her family in sunny North Carolina.

Joan
Joan’s a native of the great state of Kentucky…home of beautiful horse farms, majestic mountains and the amazing University of Kentucky Wildcats. Go Big Blue!! Originally from Kentucky, Joan and her husband Randy now call Indiana home.
They enjoy serving at their church, Buck Run Baptist, listening to music of all genres and finding that scenic road that beckons just beyond the horizon.
Tracy
Tracy’s joy comes from serving others. She met her husband 25 years ago in Portland, Oregon and has since moved to 45 wooded acres in Alabama. After 24 years of marriage, they still laugh and hold hands as they marvel at God’s plan and where it’s taken them! Which just may include a cat sanctuary as Tracy seems to be collecting them.
Tracy loves sketching, gardening, creating essential oil gifts and sitting with her bible outside listening to the wind in the trees.
Jezrel
Jez is a seasoned CPA. He spent more than a decade working as Finance Manager of the biggest company in his city, in terms of gross revenue. Focusing on his computer business, Jez took an early retirement from work. But, upon seeing its purpose, and falling in love with its work culture, Jez chose to continue to do accounting work and be part of Tower Accounting.
Jez is an e-bookworm. He is also a cyclist and a badminton player. Back in High School, he got a scholarship each for academics and sports.
Brenda
Accelerated twice in elementary, Brenda graduated Political Science-Psychology from the University of the Philippines at the age of 18. After getting a Juris Doctor degree at 22, she worked in a prestigious law firm in the capital city of Manila. She soon decided to go back to her hometown and live a laid back life for the love of love.
Brenda is a chess enthusiast and a dog lover. She competed in chess tournaments in High School. Now, she enjoys taking her dogs for a walk along with her son.
Mariz
Mariz joined Tower as a brilliant young CPA. Considered the superstar accountant by Team Jez, her teammates describe her as a fusion of good character and intellect. Her excellence comes from being a persistent academic achiever, and her intensive training in Special Science Classes both in primary and secondary school. It also stems from her love for Tower because of its non-toxic environment and its great people.
Mariz is a mathlete and a minimalist. She won several Math and Accounting competitions in her school days. She’s recently into decluttering and organizing, especially using the KonMari method.
